Vacancy: Regional Coordinator for Western Indian Ocean
The International Secretariat of the Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI) is looking for a Regional Coordinator for the Western Indian Ocean region, based in Seychelles.
Applicants must be either a Seychellois national or a Seychelles-based GOP holder.
This vacancy is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in supporting the growth of the FiTI in the region, and to contribute to the global development of this young initiative.
The new Coordinator will be responsible for increasing the public availability and understanding of fisheries management information, in particular in the following four countries: Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar and Comoros.
This position will have daily responsibilities for interacting with national and regional stakeholders from government, business and civil society, as well as with international partner organisations. The Coordinator will report to the Executive Director of the International Secretariat.
