The 9th Pacific Tuna Forum (PTF) brought together a diverse range of stakeholders under the theme “Pacific Tuna 2050: Resilience, Innovation, Equity and Sustainable Trade for a Prosperous Future.”
The FiTI presented at the Regional Conference on Advancing Ocean Learning: Navigating Knowledge in the Pacific at the University of the South Pacific.
The theme of the summit – “Iumi tugeda delivering on SDG 14.4: Achieving Sustainable Fisheries” – focused on meaningful action and innovation towards achieving SDG 14: Life Below Water.
The Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI) International Secretariat conducted its first mission to Papua New Guinea on 11-13 December 2024.
FiTI conducted its first country mission to Fiji to meet with fisheries authorities and stakeholders and to participate in a fisheries transparency workshop.
